A wishlist, gift registry or gift list is simply a list of things a person would like to have. They can be used to make it easy for friends and family to know what a person would like to receive on special occasions, like birthdays, Christmas, weddings and baby showers. Some people also use them to keep track of things they might buy in the future, such as books, clothes or gadgets.
It’s completely free. You won’t pay anything, no matter whether you’re making a list or using one to buy something for a loved one.

No- Grateful Goose is simply a platform on which you can list products and ideas. By clicking on an item you will be taken to the retailer website where you can purchase the item directly from them.

Once you’ve created a list, you will need to add the Grateful Goose wishlist button to your web browser (find out how here). Simply click the button on web pages of items you’d like to add, submit it and it will be added to your list.
Log in to your account, go to ‘account management’ in the top right of the web page. Go to your list and click ‘edit’ beside the item.

Yes. Your lists are all international as you can invite anyone to access it.
Once you’ve signed up and can access their list, click on the item you want to buy and purchase it directly from the retailer.
Click the ‘reserve’ button beside an item in someone’s wishlist.
Noone else can purchase that item via that link whilst reserved. It acts as a signal to other list subscribers that you want to buy it and gives you the time to do so.
Once you’ve accessed the list containing the reserved item, click the ‘unreserve’ button beside it.
You will be reminded via email.

The only people who can access your list are the ones you authorise. People you invite via email, once signed up, will be able to see your list. Anyone else who wants to view your list will need to sign up for a free account and request access from you. If you accept their invitation to view your list, they will be able to see it’s contents.
The list owner will need to send you the link to their list via email or social networks.
Each item added to a wishlist will have a web link you can use to visit the retailer’s website that sells the item. You can then purchase the item directly from that website.
No. We want to keep gift giving a surprise, so you will not know what has been purchased or by whom from your wishlist.
List subscribers (your friends and family) will be able to see what each other have reserved and purchased so that people don’t double-buy! It is only the list creator who cannot see what has been bought for them.
No. We keep this anonymous so that you as a list creator do not know what has been bought for you or who has bought it.
Your list will be automatically hidden from individuals who are not permitted to access your wishlist. Individuals you invite to view your list via email will automatically be able to see your list when signed up. However, anyone else will have to request access to view your list from you, which you can allow or deny.
The best way to do this is to go to the homepage and see which user is signed in at the top right of the homepage. If it is not you, sign out and sign back in with your account. Once signed in, the wishlist button will add items to your wishlist not anyone else’s.
Item purchase and delivery is dealt with solely and directly with the retailer.
